Hey Hey It's the Weekend! (If you are of a certain age, you can sing that to the Hey Hey We're the Monkees tune.)
What's going on in your world? Getting a taste of Spring? Right now, it's sunny and 72. Sunday the low is 32 again. Hence be the Midwest. I don't mind. I love cozy sweatshirts.
Tonight we join with some of our offspring for the latest play at Artists' Ensemble Theater. They always put on top notch productions. We'll also hit the new Almoka Coffee House for beverage and dessert. We love supporting local.
I've been to Almoka many times already, (and I don't drink coffee), and didn't know this reaction would get posted on their social media. That huge (and delish) crepe is big enough for THREE people! Come share one with me sometime.
Saturday I meet with a friend for exploration into possible fun ventures, then some fam stuff, then the 50's Dance Party Fundraiser at Inscape Collective. It's only $25 and there are a few tix left. Trinadora Rocks Band is a lot of fun and supremely talented. There will be appetizers, silent auction items, door prize drawing, etc. -- and dancing. HoneyMan and I used to go dancing a lot in our early days together. It has been YEARS since we have hit a dance floor. Looking forward to a little twist and shout. (AND Ron of Trinadora is the BEST Roy Orbison since Roy Orbison so here's hoping they play some Roy.)
The Holistic Health Fair in Rockford is my Sunday, 10-4, at IBEW Hall. Tickets are $5 now, but $8 at the door so get them ahead of time. (And by the way, Almoka Coffee House is very close to IBEW Hall so hit that up after you visit the expo!)
Then it's Monday again and Meditation here. (Every Monday.) Tuesday is APRIL 1 - no foolin'. (I launched Happiness Club on April 1, 2010, and some people did indeed think the press release about happiness was a joke.)
In April instead of "Intuitive Tuesday", we are doing CHAKRA LOVE on Thursday, April 10. Taking care of chakras is crucial to clear connection to intuition. This PlayShop will be super fun.
We have a SOUND BATH here on Sunday, April 13 -- AND stay tuned for info on a special HARP HEALING here with Lisa the Intuitive playing angelic frequencies on her harp, Azalea. They are a magical duo and take me to deep healing and restoration. Date for that is Sunday, April 27.
We will Explore Other Realms on Thursday, April 24.
ALSO new for April: I signed us up for a 4-week course via Ubiquity University with Chris Bledsoe, author of UFO of GOD. Chris had his first encounter in 2007. Quite a story. To him, the orbs are angelic beings. He has been studied (including brain wave scans) by NASA, the Vatican, + many government agencies for his continuing ability to call them in. Watch the live zoom sessions with me here at our Joy House, the four Thursdays of April at 1pm. For those who can't make daytime meetups, we will set up evening times to watch the recordings. If interested, give me a shout out.
